Far from being illegal, taking photos or videos of the scan should be encouraged and assistance offered if needed.

Babies are as entitled to privacy and control of their image that same as anyone else whether in or out of the womb. No proper consent no photograph.
Its a shame that some NHS staff consider themselves so heavily scrutinised in everything they do, that they do not feel sufficiently empowered to simply authorise things like this.

This is horrible, one of the joys in modern medicine is seeing your baby getting a picture and hearing the heartbeat. Mamas don’t stand for it..appears it’s also not law. Read the article.
