Lawsuit could become landmark case over contractual rights during Covid-19 pandemic

A pregnant healthcare assistant is mounting a legal action against NHS Professionals, an employment agency owned by the Department of Health and Social Care, for refusing to put her on furlough, in what could be a landmark action for other vulnerable workers bearing the brunt of the lockdown.

Some nurses benefit greatly from thos system. Pick & choose where & when the work and can earn a at least time and a half or nearly double that of a nurse employed by NHS. Agency seems great when you don't expect anything like this to happen. That's why you're being paid extra.
