A police officer has been locked up for seven-and-a-half years for recording himself sexually assaulting a woman as she slept.His victim needs counselling as a result of the ordeal and finds herself ‘unable to trust people’.
The Greater Manchester Police officer was working as a special constable at the time of the offences. Judge Robert Altham reflected on the devastating impact Dunne had on the woman as he passed his sentence at Preston Crown Court.
