Police have issued a warning to residents in a village in Trafford after a spike in Range Rover thefts.
Officers said there has been a recent spate of thefts of the luxury keyless cars in Hale. Vehicle owners have been urged to stay 'extra vigilant'. Police said owners should consider using a steering wheel lock to protect their cars. In an post on the social media this morning , a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "There has been a recent spike in keyless Range Rover thefts in the Hale village area."If you think you may be susceptible to this, consider securing your vehicle by alternative means such as a steering wheel lock. Free crime prevention advice is available on the GMP website.
