Seven police officers have been injured while breaking up a "completely unacceptable" house party.
Drone footage shared by Nottinghamshire Police showed a stream of people sprinting away from the property as officers arrived.Two men, aged 26 and 21, and a 17-year-old girl were arrested on suspicion of common assault of an emergency worker.Another 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a vehicle while unfit through drink.
"An investigation is ongoing as to who else may have been present and we will take robust action against those found to have committed offences. Seven of the top 20 areas in England for high coronavirus infection rates are in Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, according to latest figures.

You brits are scaring me. Moreso than my fellow americans, even. I'm taking bets that before the year is out you'll have some crazy, draconian laws in place to thoroughly punish quarantine-breakers that will be epically over-the-top and stereotypically british.
Pandemic isn't real is it. 2.5 million deaths caused by something. Not sure what, maybe the people who believe it isn't real could enlighten me with what they actually believe is killing people. Worldwide conspiracy doesn't really fit well when every country hates the other.

Assaulting emergency workers should carry more than just a fine. Punishments in such cases needs to be way more severe.

Suggest moving from fines to mandatory prison sentences for any assaults on emergency workers, including police dogs and horses. People seem to have no fear of consequences for their actions. 😡

If you want a sense of the rift between people in this country, ask them their opinion on this. 50% (like me), will call the actions of the party goers disgraceful - for organising, and then the actions towards police. 50% will denounce 'draconian measures' keeping us apart.
Better headline would be, 7 people injured trying to stop other people having life given freedoms.
