Police in Yorkshire search for wanted man - as people swoon over him

Police have issued a warning as they search for a 36-year-old man wanted for drug-related offences and could be in Yorkshire.

Robert Rimmer is wanted by Humberside Police who have told the public not to approach him. Rimmer is originally from the Ashton-Under-Lyne area of Manchester but has known links to Hull, Cheshire, Liverpool, and Blackpool. Anyone who knows where he is has been asked to contact the police. A spokesperson for the force said: “Have you seen wanted man 36-year-old Robert Rimmer? “Officers are keen to speak to him in connection with an ongoing investigation into drugs-related offences in our area.“Robert is originally from the Ashton-Under-Lyne area of Manchester but has known links to Hull, Cheshire, Liverpool, and Blackpool.

“If you would prefer to report information anonymously you can do so via the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.” Rimmer's picture has already caused a stir on Facebook. On Humberside Police's Facebook post appealing for help to find him, one man wrote: "I wouldnt mind approaching him", with a woman adding: "No idea, but l'd hide him in my place."
