We have a govt that is so out of touch with the realities of day-to-day life. These lads do not need stop & search; they need a meaningful life which basically means for our govt to create programs that are directed at removing barriers that prevent the meaningful way of life.

I myself am happy to be inconvenienced for 5 mins if it saves one life.

But where are the Police?

About time

We just need more police on the streets to enact this, with a combined investment in youth work (someone to talk to) and apprenticeships (something to aim for)

Not a good move. It's also not a 'relaxing of rules...' it's a complete abolition of requiring grounds for suspicion. Timing of it suspicious too with all the Brexit goings on. Welcome to the Police State.

It’s like using more moisturiser to remedy cancer. Knife crime is a symptom of a hugely complex socio economic problem. Fixing a symptom doesn’t resolve the problem.

Quite right

But the copper has to shout 'by the power of greyskull' each time.

BAD POLICE USE IT TO BEAT UP HUMANS
