COPS have fined a pedestrian £90 for covering his face as he walked past a controversial facial recognition camera.
The software - which cross-checks photos of pedestrians against a database of wanted criminals - recently came under fire after incorrectly identifying members of the public in a staggering 96 per cent of cases.
