Schools are not 'crumbling'. Schools need money to reduce class sizes and to give children with particular needs help and support. A bit of paint will not give children the education they deserve.
This is all fine and good but it better not be a repeat of the Building Schools for the Future programme, or the horror story that is PFI (which is still ripping off schools and hospitals).
