As a reminder, PS Plus is a three-tiered system. Extra is the mid-tier with a big library of PS4 and PS5 titles to download that get cycled in and out, while Premium is the high-tier that adds classic games and cloud streaming options on top.
Extra is led this month by two titles launching day one on the service, but only one of them will be part of the bigger content drop onis an RPG with a gorgeous art style that aims to modernise turn-based combat and interactions with the environment while remaining simple enough to provide a nostalgic throwback. We'll find out whether it's successful in that endeavour when it releases on August 29.
