UK Plastics Pact has set a target to make 100% of plastic packaging reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025

Now, a group of scientists have revealed that microplastics – defined as plastic particles below 5mm in size – are making their way to the most remote areas of the world.Plastic is literally falling out of the sky – even in the Arctic. That’s what a team of German-Swiss scientists found when they took snow samples from the Svalbard islands, a remote area in the Arctic., investigated the levels of microplastics in three different locations across the world.
