Work is under way to re-install bike lock-ups at Kinross Park and Ride after lockers were removed following vandalism.
The local authority has since said it plans to consult with stakeholders next month on its designs for a sustainable transport hub at Kinross Park and Ride which include an improved bus shelter as well as providing even more secure cycle parking than was there previously.The Independent councillor said: "I am very frustrated that we have not got the bike lock-ups at Kinross Park and Ride. They are badly needed. People are having to take their cars rather than use their bicycles.
A Perth and Kinross Council spokesperson said: "Following vandalism to some of the cycle lockers at Kinross Park and Ride, and to allow resurfacing of the car park, it was necessary for us to remove the secure bicycle parking provision on site.
