Piers Morgan has revealed his pal Kate Garraway is "living in hope" for her husband Derek Draper's recovery in hospital.
He now remains in a coma in hospital while his wife Kate, 53, and their two children Darcey, 14, and ten year old Billy wait for him to regain consciousness. While speaking to a nurse who managed to beat the coronavirus after being in intensive care for 93 days, he said: "We have obviously one of our own, Kate Garraway, whose husband is in a terrible position."
Speaking to The Sun, Kate recalled the heartbreaking moment she received a phone call from a senior doctor in Derek’s intensive care unit.
