Piers Morgan says he caught Covid-19 at Euro 2020 final despite being double-jabbed

Piers Morgan has described how he contracted Covid-19 while at Wembley watching the Euro 2020 final between England and Italy on Sunday 11 July.

Two days after the big match, he began feeling unwell and opted to take a lateral flow test, which came back positive. He then took a PCR test that confirmed the diagnosis, despite having had both doses of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine. Piers, whose son Spencer recently made fun of his ITV walkout with a playful Father's Day card, added: "This is definitely the roughest I've felt from any illness in my adult life, BUT, as I slowly come out the other side, coughing and spluttering.

It comes after Piers recently launched a fresh attack on Prince Harry after it was announced the 36 year old would be coming out with his own memoir.
