Installing a heat pump could be too difficult, government study admits🟢 Installing green heat pumps in older homes can be a “challenge”, and may be too difficult in some cases, according to a government-funded study Funny, I read the same report earlier and it said the opposite. Turns out the headline was wrong, who’d have thought it eh? I've had a heat pump for 7 years and whilst it's not perfect, 99% of the time it works well. If the gov forced new home builders to insulate new properties properly a heat pump would work brilliantly, however I do not think they are the answer for older properties.
