Go vegan.’Yes, even though it’s been shown thatIn a press release announcing the masks, PETA wrote: ‘Following the announcement by the Department of Health and Social Care that it’s conducted 73 tests for suspected cases of coronavirus in the UK, PETA US is offering new face masks that spread a lifesaving message: Go vegan.
‘The SARS-like virus is believed to have originated in the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market in Wuhan, China – a “wet market” where live and dead animals are sold for human consumption.‘Coronavirus has already infected thousands and killed at least 81 humans in China. The first cases have recently been confirmed in Australia, Mexico, and the US.
The founder of PETA, Ingrid Newkirk, said: ‘Filthy factory farms, abattoirs, and meat markets threaten the health of every human being on the planet by providing a breeding ground for deadly diseases like coronavirus, SARS, bird flu, and more.As a head’s up, while there are suspicions that coronavirus has spread to humans as a result of meat products, we still don’t fully understand how coronavirus happened.

Vegetarians suffer fewer UTIs 'meat has more bacteria'Researchers at Tzu Chi University in Taiwan recruited 9,274 people and tracked them for nearly a decade to see if vegetarians got fewer urinary tract and kidney infections. Not obvious for those eating asparagus.... Unless ppl are rubbing bacteria infested meat on their urethra, to infect their urinary tract, I doubt this story. Lots of reasons to limit meat intake tho. And they are generally less attractive.
