La Rosa Nautica will be fined £48,000 for its practice of handing out gold menus. The menus are handed to female diners and do not feature any prices on them.
This is a nod to old school chivalry rather than discrimination. I’m sure women were allowed to request the menu with prices should they so wish. Certainly not worth any uproar.
