Person hit by train between Retford and Newark as train lines blocked

LNER says it is experiencing "major disruption" across its route due to the incident, which it first shared news of just after 7am on Wednesday .

The operator said: "It is with great sadness that due to a person being hit by a train between Retford and"While the emergency services work, all lines between these stations are closed.
