People living at high altitudes are less likely to experience the worst effects of coronavirus, study claims

Covid-19 has impacted people less in high-altitude Bolivia, Ecuador and Tibet. People in the hills are likely better adapted to low levels of oxygen in the blood. Environmental factors such as high UV radiation may also be a 'natural sanitizer'.
