A 104-year-old woman is due to be arrested – because she wants to experience what it’s like.
Anne Brokenbrow, from Stoke Bishop, Bristol, declared her unconventional dream after being asked to fill out a ‘wish’ by care home staff. Other wishes completed by residents included a Rolls Royce ride or a hand massage, but Mrs Brokenbrow said she wanted to be taken into custody instead.The dementia-sufferer, who lives in Stokeleigh Care Home, said: ‘My wish is to be arrested.Student had six-month period because she was on the wrong contraceptive pill
The wish was then listed at a Co-op store and will now be coming true after policing teams in Stoke Bishop agreed to oblige. Next week Mrs Brokenbrow, who previously worked at James Roberts & Son Manufacturers as a secretary, will go into custody for the first time in her life.Stokeleigh Care Home is one of five in Bristol that is participating in the Wishing Washing Line initiative, run by elderly people’s charity
