They would. I suggest Cape Wrath.

'What about Harrods? What about Wimbledon? Ascot? Henley? The Army and Navy Club? I mean civilisation, generally!'

I like the idea of putting them on an itinerant cruise ship though. 'Your LordShip'? 'HMS Lordy McLordFace'?

What is the point? Unless they’re going to sell off the whole place, it’s just going to mean spending millions on a new place, while continuing to spend millions on the upkeep to the old place, plus whatever extra expenses they claim for.

greyscull47 Here’s an idea - ship BrexitJohnson and all his cronies to York (sorry York!) instead, while the work is done on HofP. He wouldn’t be happy out of his London bubble.

Another unnecessary expense I would have thought as things like the NHS creak on.

If they don’t like relocation, they they can always resign — like I did when my empoyer relocated 10 miles

Suggestions as to where they should be shipped instead? answersonapostcard

I bet they do.

And why not move it to Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland?

Preferable to have an elected Upper House as in the US.

What? The dead cat is dead?

How is moving the lords out of the London bubble a threat to democracy? I would say having a chamber full of unelected people is a threat of democracy...

The best clubs, bars, restaurants and brothels are in London - go figure

There’s a surprise. A long way to go to clock on and get paid!

North of England highly unlikely to want the fuckers I’d imagine

Boris Johnson's decision to scrap protections for child refugees could face defeat in LordsLord Dubs says Tory peers – including ministers – are unhappy over removal of policy from Brexit bill No it won’t. As he hasn’t scrapped protection for child refugees, he’s just removed it from a bill it didn’t need to be in. Here’s an idea, let’s put it in the immigration act where it makes sense not the Withdrawal agreement bill! I thought Johnson has a vision but he is pushing too far away from what a respectable country/people should act like these are not refugees, they managed to travel all through Europe to get here ,dont that tell you something
