Faction_cc We have a rule in my family. Whenever we go along The Snake, we have to play Matt Monroe’s “On Days Like These” on the car radio.

Good on you. Road closed. Nice and quiet. Stunning location at a great time of year. Low impact to any law abiding citizens. Low risk of getting caught/punished. Gives moaners something to moan about. Win win.

Faction_cc Yet again, a further example of this time experienced cyclists flouting the laws and setting a very bad example to other cyclists. Only considering your needs and not giving a thought to those who are around you. You deserve to be prosecuted..

Faction_cc The Snake Pass is closed to all traffic. Definition of traffic includes pedestrians through to vehicles. This includes cyclists.. So you are taking the piss out of the law.. It's for your safety and the safety of emergency teams who would have to rescue you should an accident

Cyclist slams police who failed to act despite pictures showing bikes being stolen in broad daylightWest Yorkshire Police admits handling of bike theft call “fell short” of standards Investigation reopened after initially being closed despite member of public taking photo of suspects stealing the bikes in Leeds cycling Why bother marking bikes if they don't investigate thefts, don't they see the nonsense of their statement? Even if they are caught the bikes won't be recovered and the sentence will be laughable. Moral of story- don't leave £ks of bike in a city centre, buy a hack.

Widower of Pewsey woman hit by cyclist 'will not give up'The Department for Transport said it would publish its response to the consultation soon. Courts are there to decide who is to blame. It's that simple. If he is guilty then a punishment should be forthcoming. If not then he should be free. I am sceptical that the cyclist was not at fault, just as I am sceptical about fault every time a driver kills a pedestrian with no consequences. Changes to law may be necessary, but just as much for drivers as for cyclists. Cyclists can go very fast and with a heavy person on top they can hit you with great false as it did to this woman. Really it’s not any different from any other accident and they should have a case to answer ! You need a license to go fishing. So why not to ride a bike.🤞for him

Give me a break. I was in a mountain rescue team & also had to patrol roads as emergency service. I am gobsmacked at the chaos a few inches of snow is creating. Modern cars have so many driver aids to assist. Ours didn't Suggesting we could drive & they can't.
