Why, many of them have happily taken furlough cash for doing nothing, now's their opportunity to repay that debt by providing summer schools at normal pay rates.

Most teachers have been off work and paid for over 2 months. As they are paid during the summer, why should they be paid again? Part time summer catch up classes is something that all schools should organise to help their pupils. It's a big ask but it needs doing.

Apparently, the message is suffice the police unions but not the teachers ones.

What! when they have been receiving full pay when the rest of us were furloughed on 80%. Good heavens No!

Endless supply of free money. 🤔

I'm sure teachers would love to have to work through their summer holiday and not spend time with their own kids.
