“It doesn’t matter what has happened, there is nothing to be worried about, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about because once you’re home we will make everything OK.” “There are only three possibilities as to what has happened to Paula, either she has fallen in the Lagan which I don’t believe, or she has gone off on her own or she has been taken by someone. Abduction is a very strong word but we have to face the fact that it’s a possibility

They had previously removed bed sheets, her hair brush and later her dressing gown as part of their investigation. “Paula adores her children, she adores her parents, her whole family, even me, her wee brother. But I feel she has just become overwhelmed and needed to step away from the pressures of everyday life. I believe she is out there and as we are waiting, waiting, waiting and the pain of not having her around is getting worse."
