Oscar nominee Paul Mescal has spoken of his “fury” after a fan groped him outside the theatre where he was performing.
He told ES Magazine: “As we posed for it, she put her hand on my a**. I thought it was an accident, so I like but the hand followed. Opening up about the bad parts of being famous, Paul admitted that some of his fans have been exceptionally rude when bumping into him out in public - especially after he became a household name after his role in Normal People.
In a new interview with British GQ, Paul discussed the awkward interaction with the fan which left him feeling 'terrible'. "I remember that was the first time that I was really angry. I was like, 'That's f***ing rude!' It's embarrassing for you, it's embarrassing for me, it's embarrassing for my friends and now I have to say no to you. But luckily they are the anomaly," he told the publication.
