Paul Burrell has revealed his appearance on the upcoming I'm A Celebrity...South Africa is "for dads struggling with their sexuality".
And speaking ahead of his second stint in the jungle, 64 year old Paul, who finished runner-up in the 2004 series of the show, explained: "I loved doing it the first time around and to be asked again is very special." He added: "It's like coming into the final of the jungle Olympics. I had to eat kangaroo testicles in Australia, and I am expecting everything to be bigger in South Africa.
"I have many more things to talk about in South Africa. I want to be there for all the dads who are struggling with their sexuality.""I went into the jungle as Princess Diana's former butler, and I came out as Paul Burrell. From that point onwards, I realised I had to be me," he said. "Not long after that, my marriage disintegrated, and I found a different path. This time I want to be there for all the dads out there who are struggling with their sexuality.
Speaking to host Lorraine Kelly, Paul said that I'm A Celeb "literally saved his life" as it flagged raised PSA levels, which meant he was able to get thoroughly investigated by his doctor, leading to the eventual discovery of his cancer.
