The passenger who died during severe turbulence on a Singapore Airlines flight from Heathrow to Singapore was a 73-year-old British man, officials have said.
The flight, operated by a Boeing 777-300ER jet, departed at 10.17pm on Monday and was diverted to Bangkok, landing at 3.45pm local time on Tuesday. There were 211 passengers and 18 crew on board.
