A water attraction at a Nottinghamshire park has been closed due to a technical fault. The Splash Park in Langold Country Park near Worksop has been temporarily shut, Bassetlaw District Council announced on Tuesday, August 8.
The authority said it was investigating a technical fault and said it hoped to have the problem solved "as quickly as possible". The council said in a tweet: "Langold Splash Park – Temporary Closure. We are really sorry to say that due to a technical fault we are having to temporarily close our Splash Park in Langold.
"We are currently looking into the issue and an engineer will be visiting to investigate further. We hope to have the problem solved as quickly as possible and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. "In the meantime, you can still visit our other splash parks at Kings’ Park in Retford and The Canch in Worksop."
