Piles of needles, drugs, and other drug paraphernalia have been found outside homes and along a busy route to school in Paisley.
The Ferguslie resident said: “Clavering Street is very busy with loads of kids heading for school up that hill and if just one had stepped on or kicked that bag, they easily could have been pricked by one those needles. Tin foil with traces of drugs believed to be heroin, syringes, and empty pill packets have been spotted by parents who are too frightened to allow their children to play outdoors.
“Before all this, my kids used to play outside all the time but it’s not safe for them to be out there anymore. The Labour MSP said: “Local residents are right to be concerned at these syringes and needles being dumped in their street.
