A coupled murdered their tiny baby son before entombing his body in chain-bound crates and tossing him down a well, a coroner said.
Dylan Groves’s body was found concealed in two milk crates held together by chains, padlocks, zip ties and metal wires at the bottom of a 30-foot well in Otway, Ohio in June. The crates were reportedly weighed down with rocks and a makeshift iron anchor, according to a report by Montgomery County Coroner Susan Brown released this week.His parents, 41-year-old Daniel Groves and 39-year-old Jessica Groves, have since been charged with murder, kidnapping, endangering children, tampering with evidence, felonious assault and gross abuse of a corpse.
Dylan’s body was found swaddled in blankets and plastic bags in two milk crates that were wrapped in chains and metal wire, which had been weighed down. According to the report, Dylan had multiple fractures in his skull, ribs, left leg, and left arm. His body, which was found in the chained crates, had also been wrapped in plastic bags and blankets that were secured by duct tape,
