Will you be comfortable sending your children back to school after the summer holidays?

Parents who refuse to send their children back to school could end up facing a fine, the Education Secretary has said.

Stating that the government have ‘now made it clear’ that returning to school is compulsory, Williamson continued: ‘If ultimately [parents] continue to ignore the fact that their children need to be in schools, or if they continue to fail to work with the schools to get their children back, then, at the most extreme level, they could be liable to a fine.’The Education Secretary previously stated that only children with ‘very good reasons’ would be exempt from returning to the classroom.

Williamson also previously stated that those returning to school in September would not be subjected to the same social distancing rules as now. Geoff Barton, leader of the ASCL head teachers’ union, noted that some parents will likely be ‘frightened and anxious’ about their children going back to school. He said teachers would prefer to try ‘building confidence’ among them, rather than ‘forcing the issue through the use of fines’.It will be down to head teachers to decided whether or not a child’s absence is authorised, which then determines whether or not their case is referred to the local authorities.

No def not.

Maybe if your lovely prime minister had taken the good decision at the right time it wouldn’t be dangerous for your kids

A lot of misinformed views on here. The risk, especially if there is a resurgence of the virus is about transmission and an increase in the infection rate. Children tend to have less severe symptoms but here we are talking about something completely different !

Not really.

Yes of course! More children have died of chicken pox this year than covid and they’re4 times more likely to be hit by lightening . Education provides life chances and choices which increases life expectancy. They won’t thank you for it when they’re left behind.

FFS people it is not Ebola, it is a flu like virus that arrived in Oct 2019 & is gone. Folks died due to the LOCKDOWN. The mask (4 mth AFTER) to keep it fresh in our minds till the toxic vaccine is ready and Gates and the Gov can make MONEY at our expense.

NO

If not, are they happy their child will be left behind in the curriculum? It’s a trade off I guess....

No

That's what happens when the government scares everyone with the scary virus - no wonder parents are uncomfortable

Government's decision to ban parents from withdrawing children from 'relationships education' lessons faces judicial reviewPrimary school children will be required to attend compulsory classes which explore topics including LGBT and the building blocks of consent I would withdraw my kid from their brainwashing too. Teaching 4 years old masturbation and consent is inappropriate. This syllabus came from WHO, it is the serialisation of kids, it is completely inappropriate and parents should have the right to remove their kids from this sick agenda. defundWHO What Take no attention of what the government say, they DO NOT have the right to indoctrinate your children. Simply claim your children or ill or whatever, they can’t prove anything. Disgusting rules
