Leading at the forefront is the UK's British Muslim community - who have been hard at work to help provide emergency aid to Pakistan's displaced peoples.

At Children of Adam, a charity based in Peterborough, fundraising efforts for the flooding in Pakistan are personal.

Shujah Saklain, chairman of Children of Adam, told Sky News:"The areas that are flooded are close to home, we've been there, we've worked on the ground there, we know a lot of the people and families there as well and that's why it's important for us to help."To help provide aid, including medicine, food and tents for those displaced, they're holding various events. They won't be stopping anytime soon, with more events planned for the next few weeks.

"But, in all honesty, this is going to be a marathon, going to be long, gruelling and going to be there for quite some time."
