Police warned that hitting water from the height of Durdle Door can be ‘critical’ after people were pictured jumping from the rocks
Police closed the tourist spot near the Durdle Door this afternoon so air ambulances could land at the scene to deal with the emergencies.Images posted on social media by Purbeck Police show the aircraft landing on the sand and crowds leaving the beach en masse as the area was evacuated.
