Council leaders have been pushing for a move to tier 2Ian Hudspeth, leader of Oxfordshire County Council, said it was the "appropriate moment" for the tier change but expressed serious concerns the rest of the county had not followed suit.
"We know there is a time lag between rising cases and an increase in hospital admissions, and so we expect to see a further increase in hospitalisation rates over the coming weeks." Anneliese Dodds, Labour MP for Oxford East, said: "I am sure people in the city will take these new measures very seriously and I urge everyone to comply."
Rebel refuse don’t comply
whilst moving to 1) 4 MILLION unemployment rate by Christmas 2) 30,000 annual unavoidable cancer deaths 3) 300% increase in suicide rates from last year 4) 2.5 TRILLION debt that will take us all 30 YEARS to pay off. Lockdowns have not and never work. Protect the sick & carry on
But if you promise more money; was this not the expected result. I guess more/extra money for tier 3 is helping.
Fuck me...how will they cope...we're heading for an as yet unclassified tier 4 here...

Tier 3 incoming narrative plan agenda201
It's little wonder folks are confused, when you have Oxford with 134.5 per 100,000 up 23rd October, then you have Bristol with 340.7 for the same period, and it's Mayor inventing Tier1+.. they wonder why mental health issues are on the increase ;-)
Arrgghhh
Oxford= students
Can you travel outside your tier

Welcome tier 2 crew
This should be the whole county - all local councillors, regardless of political party, have been calling for this. Cherwell district has similar rates. At this rate we’ll have another national lockdown. The tier system is absolutely broken
Surely a mistake? Oxford is in the south
