As part of a special programme to mark six months since the killing of George Floyd, Channel 5 News have conducted a survey into everyday racism.
When it came to the workplace, a shocking 85% of respondents told how they had experienced one or more forms of racism.
Some of the behaviour such as the monkey slurs are inexcusable & should be outright condemned. However the sample size was 500. In regards to confusing people of other 'races' or ethnicities. This is a well tested & replicated phenomenon called the cross-race effect (1)
