Outlander fans think Sam Heughan may join new Harry Potter film franchise

Outlander star Sam Heughan has teased fans on social media who think he might be joining the new Harry Potter movies.

He recently shared a photograph with his 4.3 million Instagram followers, a cool black and white picture of himself with his hand out, writing "Expelliarmus!"READ MORE: Brains behind Glasgow Willy Wonka experience says 'life is ruined' and he has 'lost everything' The Scots actor appeared to be doing a spell from the Harry Potter books, which has raised some eyebrows. Outlander and Harry Potter fans flocked to the comments as they reckoned it would be a great move.While one said that they reckon that Hermione would definitely give her stamp of approval of him joining the cast.

It's unknown if Sam will join the cast for the Harry Potter show but a boss at Warner Bros, reports the Express US, said they want to make a new Harry Potter series for their streaming service, Max, by 2025 or 2026.David Zaslav, the CEO of Warner Bros Discovery, said: "We've not been shy about our excitement around Harry Potter. I was in London a few weeks ago with Casey and Channing and we spent some real time with JK and her team.

Warner Bros has also confirmed the project, which will cover all seven of JK Rowling’s popular books.
