The actor has been tapped to voice the role of Jesus Christ in the new religious project from Mofac Animation, a South Korean-based animation house.
'A film capturing the epic life of Jesus Christ warrants a stellar cast, and our actors announced to date – Oscar Isaac, Forest Whitaker, Kenneth Branagh, Uma Thurman and Roman Griffin Davis – is impressive by any measure,' producer Anfernee Kim told the outlet. 'Oscar perfectly captures the impactful delivery of Jesus, and Forest’s expertly embodies the complicated aspects of Peter.
Recognized as a pioneer for introducing VFX to South Korean films, Jang's expansive VFX work includes such films as Joint Security Area , Tidal Wave , Sector 7 , Spartacus , Last Knights , among others. Isaac , 45, began his career in acting with a minor role in the film Illtown when he was a teenager.
