With the reversal of globalisation an impending threat, this is what it takes to make cities all over the world thrive

But the one overriding point is that cities, at least in the developed world, are expensive places to live. Some things cost pretty much the same in every country: food, electricity, telecommunications, national taxes, etc. But others, notably housing, are invariably more expensive in cities, sometimes massively so. Yet people move to citiesIn the developed world about three-quarters of the population live in cities or large towns, and the proportion is rising rapidly in the emerging countries.

Fed sees no US interest rate rise this year as economy slowsThe US Federal Reserve has signalled there will be no interest rate hikes in 2019, citing a slowdown in economic growth. Correction: FED has no intention of forcing rate rises again this year as it slowed the economy each of the last few times they've done it since 2016. As they can see the US (and the World) economy is going down the toilet Eh what? Trump says he's created an economic miracle. Shurely shome mishtake!

Climate strike: US students walk out of classes as part of global protest – liveYoung people, inspired by Greta Thunberg, rally on 15 March to press politicians to act on climate change So the propaganda was succesful. It's common sense that children are apolitical. Kids don't strike. So these are evidently organized by Stalinesque climate propagadists with ulterior agendas or by adults completely duped by the former. It's deplorable that adults are terrorizing children based on pseudoscience.
