For seven decades, since the dawn of the European Community, the British have been trying to get Europe to do things the British way. First outside, then inside and now outside again the British always wanted to have their cake and eat it. They rarely did. The French, as it happens, always said “non”. It is a long track record, and hard to see why the habit would change now.
We have missed nothing, but the EU may well have missed their 39 billion euro blackmail money.
Buckle up. Six months from now the shit will hit the fan so hard that 99% of us will be covered in it.
Times have changed and we need a second referendum, it’s been 4 years now and most people have changed their minds, if you truely respect democracy demand a second referendum to keep our island together.
Oh let’s be honest: avoiding no-deal was never a target. Getting a no-deal (or a deal in name only) and blaming the EU was always what they wanted.
If you're going to do it, better get a good deal. Is it worth it? Have things changed since Brexit was proposed and now? Consider that.
