The Guardian view on Extinction Rebellion: one small step | EditorialEditorial: Disrupting traffic is not enough – we must disrupt our progress towards climate catastrophe Since we first walked on the moon, just about 50 years ago, we've seen a 60% reduction in global biodiversity. That pace of extinction is accelerating. Every day we don't act we leave our heirs a more barren planet. The only solution is population control, Limit each family to 1 child each, yet the ethical latte drinkers scream 'Nazi mindset' when that is proposed.
