One dead and several hurt after two buses and a car crash in South-East London

ONE person has died and several others are injured after a horror smash between two buses and a car in South East London.

Emergency crews were scrambled at around 10.15pm tonight - with a picture from the scene showing two buses mounted on a pavement and a mangled car in the road.One person has died and several others are injured after two buses and a car collided in OrpingtonA picture shows two buses on the pavement and a mangled car following a horror smash in OrpingtonDebris is also strewn across the road, with police treating the horror as a "serious traffic collision".

They confirmed one person was pronounced dead at the scene while a number of others are being treated for injuries.It is not yet clear how serious their injuries are - with some witnesses saying up to 15 people may be hurt.The London Ambulance Service tweeted: "Our crews are responding alongside @metpoliceuk and"We are currently treating a number of patients.
