The director’s love letter to 1960s Hollywood disturbs and dazzles in equal measure

‘More than a buddy, less than a wife’: Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Photograph: Andrew Cooper/APt’s hardly surprising that this, perhaps the most “Tarantino-esque” of all Quentin Tarantino’s movies to date, is a love letter to Hollywood.

Probably in my top 3 most boring movies I’ve ever watched. Utterly dire. Nothing happens

I've never seen a more discussed movie with such poorly veiled bad reviews. It can't be good. It's like they're saying ANYthing about it other than it's a great movie. No one wants to roast it but I hear no real praise either. Tarantino is clearly quite connected.

I thought the dialog was pretty weak considering the screen time devoted to it.

1. Poor review which seems to have missed the point of the film: which elegantly and with Shakespearean attention to detail shows how the American public has blurred reality and Hollywood's presentation of it to the point they can no longer tell the difference.

Quentin Tarantino’s male gaze in 'Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood' isn’t just insulting – it’s profoundly boringTarantino’s portrayal of Tate as a lifeless doll is proof he has lost his touch, says Clémence Michallon cant be.. I met Tarantino and found he was extremely not boring at all.. spoiler 😏 Blah blah blah blah What an unnecessarily long review, full of subjectivity and a pandering to themes. Tate was never a main character in this movie, the move has two central fictional characters. Tate is the ‘nextdoor neighbour’ in this movie. I’d love to see this reviewer’s own Tate biopic.

Only showering for one minute, ONCE a week has cured my eczemaA WOMAN has cured her eczema – by showering just ONCE a week for just one minute. Neyina Arrieta, 28, claims that ditching her meds in favour of the more natural approach has finally soothed … At last I’m on trend and have never had eczema. Bad acne yes but eczema no. Knowing the sun. The heading doesn't match what the real story is about. But I'd the heading is right. Then maybe being a dirty so and so gets rid of stuff
