With Arrow McLaren expanding to three full-time entries for 2023, Rossi arrives at the team with seven years of experience at Andretti Autosport.

"In IndyCar it's very different where you can really tailor and customise it to what you want it to feel like or drive like. "I feel like our car is very different to that. I'm curious to see what he thinks and how he kind of develops where we can find some more time. "He's been great to have around. I think he needed a fresh start. I think he's excited to really work with all of us, create the strongest package."As in 2021, O’Ward scored two wins last year but his fortunes took a gut-punch thanks to two mechanical DNFs, at Road America and Mid-Ohio, in which he could have finished top five in the former and won the latter.

"It's possible, for sure. I mean, the first two years I was with the team, I never had a DNF! I completed almost all the laps all year. O’Ward insisted that his Formula 1 ambitions, following his tests with the McLaren F1 team, would not be a distraction for him in the season ahead.

Pagenaud: “A shame” that sims have replaced track time in IndyCarSimon Pagenaud regrets having to correlate so much simulator work with relatively few days on track as he tries to tackle the tire-wear issue that bugged him in 2022. simonpagenaud MeyerShankRac Sims are cost effective. Cheaper that packing the car into a hauler and heading to the track. Plus not costs associated with wrecking simonpagenaud MeyerShankRac I get that it costs less to run a Sim but it really is a shame they don't have as many actual test days. there's always going to be something that happens in the cars or with a track you can't simulate. simonpagenaud MeyerShankRac 👏
