Claire Sorlie, a certified nutritionist and founder of Resilient Health and Wellness, has shared her top tips for a healthier lifestyle - and some of her advice may surprise you

A nutritionist has shared her top tips for a healthier lifestyle, revealing four essential foods to consume - and two to avoid.

She explained: "There are some good collagen powder brands. I just found in my clinical experience that my clients get better results with things like their hair, skin, nails, joint health when we use a whole-food source of collagen versus a powdered form. On the topic of probiotics, she explained: "There are very specific instances where I use probiotic supplements with my clients. But if we're just trying to get a daily dose of probiotics, food sources like sauerkraut are a much better option and often contain more strains of probiotics."She said you don't need to consume a lot and can start off small such as one teaspoon per day.
