Chemotherapy nurse Louise Amery has been left hundreds of pounds in debt after being fined for parking at work
Although each fine was originally £35, the amount has increased to £100 per ticket as she has not been able to pay them in time because her low wages meant she ran out of money. ‘I’m just being bounced around by everyone. I’m trying hard to settle every debt, but my wages aren’t much. This can’t be right.
Louise said: ‘My issue isn’t that I’ve been ticketed, although I really think there should be many, many more 11-hour bays available around the hospital.
