After making fun of the President, perhaps its good to educate your team of journalists.

Absolutely heartbreaking.

You could write headline like this “UK now has 62% more hospital deaths than France at the same point in pandemic”. Date of 10th Covid death : UK 14/3, France 9/3. UK hospital deaths on 25/4 : 20,319; France on 20/4 : 12,513. would be better journalism

subtitle is “Britain has 5th-highest number of coronavirus deaths after US, Italy, Spain and France” however UK reports *hospital* deaths only. 20,319. France also gives that number. 14,050 (so subtitle is false (even if article mentions reporting issue)

Can you start looking to provide a total count figure please?

Has anyone noticed that the comparison of countries graph shows U.K. above Italy and heading for Spain. This govt is secretive it wants to govern from the top down and that is why where in such a mess. Keir_Starmer pollytoynbee vsmacdonald

And we've barely, if actually, peaked in infections. Focusing us on a derivative (R1) target as a distraction for having failed to act early enough and killed thousands over 11 days of delusion, can't distract from confirmed hospital Covid19 deaths now being over 20,000. Tories

But we do not count deaths in homes and communities in our figures ..We are therefor much worse that the countries mentioned at this stage in the coronavirus pandemic..

Anyone still not convinced the UK is s*hit at everything it does apart from propaganda & fraud is in serious denial

With not of.

'Of'. 🙄

This is a very worrying situation. Given the seriousness, there is a need to take strict steps.

The government must hand over to one of National Unity now. March 28th HMG-UK: fewer than 20k deaths in total - “we will have done very well” AlokSharma_RDG, Secretary of state for BEIS Today, the UK entered 'not very well' territory and that's for hospitalised deaths alone.
