New South Wales premier Gladys Berejiklian has said the number of visitors allowed in homes in her state will increase from 20 to 30, as she foreshadowed that a range of Covid-19 restrictions will be eased next week. AAP reports that in addition to the changes for visitors to a home, cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs will be allowed to double their capacity with one person allowed per two square metres.
