With a spacious beer garden, plenty of different drinks options and quality home-cooked food, the Dovecote Inn is every inch an idyllic rural pub. That's not all, with three guest bedrooms, it was also a proud winner on Channel 4's Four in a Bed, the series where B&B owners score each other's properties.

"We don’t do fancy food, it's proper pub food but done nicely. It's not pretentious," said Sam. As a free house they can sell whatever beers they like. Timothy Taylor's Landlord is a staple - and the pub is part of the Champions Club for consistently keeping the beer as perfect as possible.
