Nottingham Panthers' head coach gave a speech to crowds outside Motorpoint Arena following Adam Johnson's tragic death. The ice hockey star's teammates gathered to pay tribute to the 29-year-old after he died in a "freak accident" during their match against Sheffield Steelers.

Thousands of fans at the Sheffield Arena on Saturday witnessed the tragedy, with widespread reports suggesting that the player suffered a serious cut to his neck from a skate. Some of the players made an impromptu appearance where fans had gathered to pay their respects, as reported by ITV. Coach Kevin Moore, addressing fans, said: "Our heart breaks with all of yours, we just want you to know that we're all grieving this together as a team, a community and a city. We're all going to get through this together with a lot of love, a lot of thought and a lot of laughter.

"As time goes on we're all going to heal but we're going to do it together. Our group is strong and connected and we're going to do you guys proud. We appreciate everyone coming out today and everyone thanks you for the support, we love you all."
