Nottingham Forest could benefit from any punishment handed to Manchester City for their 115 alleged breaches of Premier League Financial Fair Play laws.
Man City have firmly denied the allegations by the Premier League but a dark cloud has hung over them as they await the breaches to be heard. Recent reports have claimed that the hearing will take place in the 'next few months' with no public confirmation of a date, whilst in the past it has been speculated a verdict could only arrive in after the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
But ultimately that was just one charge and for a case of Man City's scale, the precedent has not yet been set. Stripping them of titles, relegation, financial penalties and transfer embargoes are just some of the suggestions thrown into the public sphere. The central payments are divided into six categories: Equal Share, Facility Fees, Merit Payment, International Equal Share, International Merit Payment, and Central Commercial. To determine any potential compensation, data from official Premier League sources and news sites have been used.
